All gamers have entertained the idea of calling in sick to work when it's time for a new game release. Ahead of the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, we therefore created a sick day grant so that the most dedicated fans could skip work and go incognito on launch day to play.

To be eligible for the sick day grant, fans had to prove themselves worthy by completing three Call of Duty-related missions. The campaign was activated through gaming profiles, social media, and traditional media.


With a reach of 18 million and over 800 participating Swedes, we can conclude that there were many eager individuals ready to ghost their boss on launch day.
